Location: 1 mile south of Fountain Green Jurisdiction: Multi - Whalen's Type 2 Incident Management Team in command Cause: Under Investigation Fire Size: 38,928 acres Fuel Type: 2 Timber (grass and understory) Pinyon, Juniper, Cheat, grass, sage, mix oak. Evacuations: Indian Ridge, Elk Ridge, Big Hollow, and Oaker Hills communities under mandatory evacuation. Numerous evacuations and structures lost. Closures: Highway 89 closure in effect.
