Three people were killed and four others were injured after a helicopter crashed at the Grand Canyon Saturday. Allen Kenitzer, FAA Office of Communications, stated the crash occurred Saturday afternoon. He said the Eurocopter EC130 crashed under unknown circumstances in the Grand Canyon. Chief Bradley of the Hualapai Police Department tells Fox 13 News three people aboard the helicopter were killed and four others were injured. He said the cause of the crash is unknown and the investigation continues. Kenitzer says local authorities say at least seven people were aboard the aircraft and confirms the helicopter "sustained substantial damage." The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board will investigate.
