The Eugene Airport evacuated a concourse and pushed a plane away from the building after a fire was reported in the back of the plane. Delta Flight 5805 was scheduled to head to Seattle when the smoke was found just after 1 p.m.. The plane was parked at gate A2 and no passengers were on the plane yet when the incident began. "Out of an abundance of caution, the A Concourse was evacuated and the aircraft was pushed away from the building," the Eugene Airport said in a statement. Firefighters didn't find actual flames, just smoke and it's unclear what the source of the smoke was. Airport operations have since returned to normal. The airport suggested travelers check with their airlines for current flight information.
