Authorities are evacuating about 60 homes as a precaution after a wind-aided wildfire has burned some 400 acres in northwestern Arizona. The Mohave Valley Fire Department ordered the evacuations Friday night after winds grew the fire from 50 acres. Mohave County Emergency Management Coordinator Byron Steward says the fire was started by either a downed power line or a transformer. It's burning near Willow Valley, north of Interstate 40. The Red Cross has been notified and the Mohave Valley Elementary School has been opened as a shelter.
