A LION Air plane reportedly bound for Japan, Japan crashed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Sunday night, March 29, 2020.Philippine Red Cross (PRC) chairman Richard Gordon confirmed this on Twitter, saying fire and medic teams have been dispatched to respond to the incident."Our fire and medic teams were already dispatched to NAIA Terminal 2 to respond to the plane crash incident involving Lion Air Flight RPC 5880," he said.He added that the plane was carrying eight passengers -- a flight medic, nurse, doctor, three flight crew, one patient and a companion."The plane caught fire and exploded as it was taking off the NAIA runway 24," he said.
