At least 46 people were injured Wednesday when two SEPTA trolleys collided in west Philadelphia. The accident took place at 38th Street and Lancaster Avenue when two SEPTA Route 10 trolleys were traveling on the same track in the same direction. One of the trolleys hit the other from behind. A Southeastern Pennsylvania Transit Authority spokesperson said all reported injuries are nonlife threatening. The agency provided buses with EMT support to transport injured passengers. SEPTA serves Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties.
