NJ weather leaves more than 1,100 without power in Springfield, 700 in Hunterdon Route 1 was reported flooded in Edison. Old Bridge police-reported flooding on Route 35 up to the height of the Jersey Barriers. All lanes are closed. On Route 78 in Bernards, at 6:30 p.m, a downed tree has closed eastbound Route 78 east of Exit 33. Also at 6:30 p.m., the two left lanes on the Garden State Parkway north of Exit 130 are closed.
