Power Outage in Argentina on December 29 2015 02:35 PM (UTC).
The National Power Regulatory Agency (ENRE) said 29,544 customers of Edenor and Edesur companies remained without electricity supply amid suffocating temperatures in the City of Buenos Aires and nearby areas. Energy Minister Juan Jose Aranguren urged companies to maintain their "maintenance teams ready to respond in the fastest way" so that power service can be restored as soon as possible. "As consumers, we can do a lot, especially when we have a system that is in a critical state and especially when we are using air conditioning equipments frequently, we can implement small measures that can help mitigate the impact of this heat wave. For instance, setting equipments at 24°," Aranguren said recommended.
