We are experiencing another sizzling hot day here in Korea, so take the necessary precautions if you have to spend a lot of time outside today. A heatwave warning has been issued for the central region -- including Gyeonggi-do and Chungcheongbuk-do provinces, which encompass the cities of Seoul, Daejeon and Daegu. There's also a heatwave advisory in effect for the southern part of the nation -- covering Jeolla-do and Gyeongsang-do provinces, including the cities of Busan and Ulsan. The high in Seoul is expected to get up to a blistering 36-degrees Celsius, sometime between 1 and 5 p.m. Forecasters expect the scorching hot weather with tropical nights to continue for the rest of the week and experts advise everyone, especially the elderly, to stay hydrated and avoid outdoor activities during the day.
