Firefighters are battling a large blaze that broke out inside a building at the New Jersey shore. The fire erupted Friday afternoon in the business district of Keyport, a borough with about 7,000 residents. The fire started in a warehouse structure on West Front Street. Monmouth County prosecutor's office spokesman Charles Webster says firefighters were caught inside a building where a wall collapsed. About 200 firefighters are on the scene. Six have been injured and hospitalized. Mayor Harry Aumack says gusting winds have made it more difficult to contain the fire. Large plumes of smoke rose from the scene and covered the surrounding area. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
