Biological Hazard in Spain on February 14 2016 04:54 PM (UTC).
At least 112 people (75 in Cádiz, 32 in Sevilla, 4 in Malaga, 2 in Granada and one in Jaen). have fallen ill and one person has died from suspected salmonella poisoning at a bar in the coastal city of Cadiz. The source appears to be a bocadillo (small sandwich) of tortilla casera, made of potatoes and eggs, ordered by many of the victims. Yesterday, Israel reported Salmonella enteritidis in eggs imported from Spain.
